Manchester United and Manchester City clearance sale gets even bigger as shirts plummet to £25

With the Premier League well under way, plenty of football fans will be spending much of their free time either following the matches on TV or attending them in person at the stadiums. Especially with renowned rivalry between the home teams, supporting your favourite team is a well-trodden tradition, and one of the best ways to show support is by wearing the appropriate kit. However, football strips can cost a pretty penny with tops sometimes costing upwards of £100 for the special prints of specific players. Thankfully, sports shirt retailer Fanatics has an ongoing sale on football shirts with plenty of options from both Manchester City and Manchester United available at a discount. We reported on this sale earlier in the month, but some of the prices have been driven down even further. With discounts of up to 69% off, the sale is worth another look. I've rounded up all the major football shirts to consider in the Fanatics sale, along with a few alternatives for those on the fence about which design to pick up. Find them all below: Kicking off, we have the current home kit for Manchester United. The iconic bright red colour is adorned with the logo on the top left alongside the Snapdragon sponsor logo. As Adidas is the official sponsor of Manchester United , all of its current kits are printed on Adidas garments. This top is normally £85, but it can be had for £61.20 at Fanatics right now. Manchester United fans who are also fond of B. Fernandes might prefer to pick up a shirt with his number 8 printing on it. That can be found for £70 in the Fanatics sale , which is a £30 reduction on its £100 MSRP. Manchester United swaps out red for a bright white strip when it plays away. The sponsor and team logos are all switched out to a monochrome design, which looks fantastic against the slightly patterned white background. This away shirt can be found for the same price as the home kit, currently going for £61.20 instead of £85. If there's ever a clash of colours when playing against an opponent, Manchester United players will occasionally don their third alternative kit. Ditching the red and white, the Third shirt is emblazoned with a stylish all-black background with sponsors and logos taking on a yellow accent. There's also a small amount of blue woven into the fabric, making for a slightly different and eye-catching design. Find it at Fanatics for £64.80 instead of £85. Of course, the Manchester United strip also comes in kids sizes so no one in the family is missing out. The home kit costs a little less than the adult strip too , currently going for £43.20 per shirt instead of £60. Moving onto the Manchester City kit, we have the home strip first on the list. The iconic blue and white colourway is recognisable among any football fan worth their salt, with the Etihad Airways sponsor logo front and centre. While Adidas is the kit sponsor for United, Puma takes on that role for City. You can find the Puma shirts for £59.50 instead of £85 at Fanatics. Alternatively, City fans who are particularly fond of Haaland can get a shirt with his number 9 printing on. It's a little more expensive but is still on sale , down to £70 from £100. When playing away, Manchester City players throw on an all-black outfit instead of the usual blue and white colours. The design stays much the same with all the logos still in place, but with a monochromatic colour scheme taking centre stage. The away kit is currently going for the same price as the home kit at Fanatics - that's £59.50 instead of £85. If the 2025-26 away kit goes for a professional, understated look, the away shirts from last year's season go in completely the opposite direction. With luminous lime stripes running the entire height of the shirt, it's certainly one that would catch the eye of other fans in the stadium. With this kit being from last year's strip, it's seen a considerable discount from its MSRP. Fanatics shoppers can grab the kit for £25 instead of £80. All goalkeepers wear a slightly different strip to differentiate themselves from the rest of the team, and Manchester City has a striking pink colour on offer for fans. The slightly patterned front compliments the dark blue sponsor and team logos perfectly, making this an incredibly bold yet confidence choice for City fans to adorn. Sadly, this shirt hasn't had quite the same discount treatment as the other shirts from City's 2025-26 collection, but there's still a healthy £21 to be saved. Fans can pick it up for £61.20 instead of £85. Manchester City doesn't just have a Third Shirt - it has a Fourth, too. This one will likely be an acquired taste with the pink and blue colour scheme almost bringing a pearlescent shine to it. Again, this design is from the 2024-25 season, meaning it's seen a much deeper discount than the current strip. Find it at Fanatics for £42.50 instead of £80.
