Gardaí arrested the man yesterday morning for questioning and in an update this morning they confirmed he had been released. The man (aged in his late teens) had been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Kildare area. Advertisement Investigations are ongoing in the case, a Garda spokesperson said in the fresh statement. Ryan, who was in his 20s, was found unresponsive on McGee Terrace at around 3:15am on 26 October. He was taken to Naas General Hospital with serious head injuries but later passed away. Following a post-mortem examination – the results of which will not be released for operational reasons – gardaí have now commenced a murder investigation.
