Gardaí on duty in Mallow, Co Cork last night noticed a vehicle acting suspiciously, leading to the search of the vehicle. Advertisement The man was arrested and brought to a garda station in Co Cork, where he is currently detained under the Offences Against the State Act, 1939. Today, gardaí conducted follow-up searches at a home in Cork city. The Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit attended the scene.
