Malia Bell Awarded Dr Joanne Pratt Bursary The Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association [BOTA] has awarded Malia Bell the Dr. Joanne Barbara Pratt Bursary Award. A spokesperson said, “October 27th is World Occupational Therapy Day with the theme ‘Occupational Therapy in Action’. ‘The theme highlights the active efforts of occupational therapists across the world to engage people in meaningful activities and participation’, The World Federation of Occupational Therapists. In celebration, the Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association [BOTA] has awarded Malia Bell with the Dr Joanne Barbara Pratt Bursary Award. “Malia is an undergraduate student at the University of the West of England, pursuing a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy. Her academic achievements, life experiences, and deep passion for the profession and the community set her apart from other candidates, showcasing her potential to make a profound impact.” “We are pleased to extend our support to motivated individuals like Malia as they pursue their aspirations.
