Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is now ready to roll. Alongside the early Black Friday sales now live at Target and Best Buy, we also now have some early deals across a number M4 Mac mini configurations at up to $150 off. Those offers join $200 price drops on the entire M4 MacBook Air lineup as well as this 24GB M3 model at $500 off the original list price. Apple 4-pack of AirTags is back down at $65 (that’s $16 each) and our exclusive deals deliver Satechi’s 2025 Qi2 MagSafe travel chargers at some of the best prices ever with 40% off in savings. Everything else awaits below. M4 Mac mini configurations now up to $150 off ahead of Black Friday, deals from $499 We are in a bit of calm before the storm phase here when it comes to Apple Black Friday deals. We have, however, seen a few notable offers live already, including a $99 price drop on Apple Watch Ultra 3 and others, but we wanted to touch down again this morning to highlight the M4 Mac mini. Not only has the base model dropped a touch lower at Amazon to $499 shipped, but we are also tracking deals across several configurations going right up to the 24GB/1TB model at $150 off. Details await below. As you can see from the list below, we are tracking notable discounts across the M4 Mac mini lineup. Ranging from the most affordable current-generation Mac you can buy at $100 off the list price, right up to the heavily upgraded config at $150 off, these deals are matching the Prime Day pricing we featured at the top of last month: M4 Mac mini 16GB/256GB $499 (Reg. $599) M4 Mac mini 16GB/512GB $690 (Reg. $799) M4 Mac mini 24GB/256GB $699 (Reg. $799) M4 Mac mini 24GB/512GB $890 (Reg. $999) M4 Mac mini 24GB/1TB $1,049 (Reg. $1,199) While, like anything else, there is a chance we see some of these configurations go for even less during Black Friday proper come the end of the month, it’s hard to imagine Apple’s already quite reasonably priced M4 Mac mini going for all that much less, if at all. One trend we have seen this year with the M4 lineup, and, generally speaking, across Apple’s more affordable current-generation gear, is that holiday pricing remains relatively stable and on par with the lows we track throughout the year. We could see an additional $20 off here or there on some gear, but the special holidays savings haven’t been all that much deeper than the notable discounts in between. Score Apple’s 13-inch 24GB M3 MacBook Air at $500 off the orig. list price ($300 less than M4) With the early Black Friday deals going to into full swing as ushered in by the now live Best Buy event (among others), and the latest M4 MacBook Air lineup now at $200 off across the board, we wanted to shine a light on this M3 model. For some, a previous-generation machine just isn’t worth the investment, but at $500+ off the list price others might want to give it a look before it’s completely sold out. B&H is currently offering the 13-inch M3 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $999 shipped. This deal is only live on the silver model at this point as other options have quickly sold out since it first went live. As a quick refresher, this M3 MacBook Air configuration originally debuted at $1,699 and then dropped to $1,499 after Apple did away with the 8GB RAM tier (this effectively dropped the price across the lineup as Apple did not alter prices despite offering higher RAM counts). That means today’s deal is $700 less than the price this model launched at and $500 under the MSRP is carried in October of 2024. As far as how this compared to the new M4 models, let’s dive in: 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB $799 (Reg. $999) 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $999 (Reg. $1,199) 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB $1,199 (Reg. $1,399) 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB $999 (Reg. $1,199) 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $1,199 (Reg. $1,399) 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB $1,399 (Reg. $1,599) As you can see from the list of early Black Friday deals on the new M4 MacBook Air models above, all of which deliver $200 off the list prices, today’s deal on the M3 24GB/512GB is $300 under the $1,399 list on the comparable M4 model and $200 under the current sale price. Again, the M3 chip might be a non-starter for some folks, and understandably so, but this is still a more than capable machine – I know folks with this exact configuration and they still love this thing – and one that might be worth considering for those looking to land a deep deal on a MacBook this holiday season. The chances, after all, of seeing the newer M4 24GB/512GB model at $500 off, or rather down at $999, are very, very small. Alongside all of the early Black Friday deals landing this morning, Amazon has now brought back its holiday-worthy pricing on Apple’s 4-pack of AirTags down at $64.99– that’s just over $16 per AirTag. A single AirTag, which is currently selling $25 at Amazon, carries a $29 list price and the 4-pack sells for $99 directly from Apple and other major retailers. Today’s deal is nearly 35% less than that and the lowest price we can find. The most this 4-pack has sold for at Amazon this year is $80 and it did drop to $64.50 for a couple brief stints back in the spring, but today’s deal does mark the return of Prime Day pricing and comes within $0.50 of the best deal we have tracked on Amazon all-time. The 4-pack here can deliver some serious value, especially at this time of year. Even if you can’t put four of them to good use yourself, at $16 a pop they make for some sweet Apple stocking stuffers or just as gifts for friends, family members, and co-workers. I was pleasantly surprised to score some official Apple gear as a sort of corporate gift last year myself. As we have detailed previously, rumors of the new next-gen model have been floating around for several months. It was supposed to drop in the spring and then again in September, but the waiting game continues. The new model is by and large expcted to be much of the same, just with better reliability and extended range, but if you ask me the current model still makes for a great stocking stuffer or EDC companion.
