Days after Brian Kelly was shown the door at LSU, athletic director Scott Woodward is expected to be out of the job as well. LSU and Woodward are finalizing an exit agreement, according to multiple reports, a day after Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry adamantly stated that the school’s AD would not be heading the search for the school’s next football head coach. Executive deputy athletics director Verge Ausberry is believed to be in line to take over as interim athletic director, both On3 and Yahoo Sports reported. The school could make the announcement as early as Friday, according to Yahoo.
