The online harasser of Han Ji-Min, known for shows like Love Scout and One Spring Night, has been indicted without detention for repeatedly posting malicious content against the actress. In a case pertaining to 2024, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office led by Kim Ji Young has referred the accuser for intimidation and defamation. Online accuser indicted The Chosun Ilbo reported on October 29 that the woman in her 30s, surnamed Lee, was indicted without detention on October 20 for repeatedly targetting Han Ji-Min. Lee is accused of posting malicious articles against Han 19 times on social media from September to October last year. No official date has been set for the first hearing in the case. About harassment case The woman was accused by Han's agency of defaming her, soon after Han confirmed her relationship with Jannabi's vocalist, Cho Jung-Hoon, in August last year. Following the news, the anonymous woman allegedly started spreading malicious content against her. She wrote posts like "I will sabotage Han Ji Min's movie" and "Shut your mouth," acquaintances of the Korean star in the messages. Han Ji-Min's agency complaint Han's agency BH Entertainment, filed a criminal complaint against Lee with the Gangnam Police Precinct in November last year. Police even sought assistance from the U.S.-based operator of the social media platform to identify Lee and summoned Han as the complainant. In March 2025, the case was forwarded to prosecutors with a recommendation to indict Lee. Prosecutors questioned both Han and Lee before bringing the case to trial. According to the prosecution's investigation, Lee started harassing Han shortly after the news of her and Choi Jung-Hoon's romantic relationship surfaced.
