Delays are building and a lane is closed following a crash on the M62 in Greater Manchester tonight (Tuesday, October 28). The lane is shut to traffic on the westbound carriageway near Eccles Interchange. The closure was first reported at around 11.30pm, with traffic queueing and emergency services at the scene. Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "Lane closed due to accident on M62 Westbound from J12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange) to J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood)."
