Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna gave fans of The Traitors a glimpse into season 4, saying the show was really fun but physically and emotionally hard, too. The Context Season 4 of The Traitors is expected to be released in early 2026 with an entirely new cast of players ranging from reality television stars to Donna Kelce, mom of Travis and Jason Kelce. The competition show takes place in Scotland and has cast members divided into two groups, traitors and faithfuls, and the faithfuls try to vote off the traitors to win a cash prize. Rinna told Entertainment Tonight that, as a housewife, she had “absolutely no strategy” and was going up against professional gamers, like people from Big Brother and Survivor. What To Know Despite being at a disadvantage from the “hard core” gamers who “know exactly what they’re doing” in this type of show, Rinna told Entertainment Tonight that she had a ton of fun filming the show. “I love to do things that take me out of my comfort zone,” Rinna said. “And honey, that took me way out.” As other seasons played out, it seems like we’ll get a close knit group of people again by the end of the show. Since the show is filmed over several weeks in Scotland and access to phones is limited to preserve the integrity of the game, the cast members in previous seasons have grown to be good friends that transcend the time on the show. It’s not toxic. It’s not negative. It’s not dark. It’s a game,” Rinna said. “It’s hard though.” Along with Rinna, viewers will see Caroline Stanbury from Real Housewives of Dubai, Dorinda Medley from Real Housewives of New York, Candiace Dillard Bassett from Real Housewives of Potomac and Porsha Williams from Real Housewives of Atlanta on the upcoming season. When asked how it compares to Housewives, Rinna said Housewives is mentally and emotionally difficult, whereas Traitors is emotionally and physically hard. Along with playing a psychological game, players on The Traitors compete in various physical challenges to earn prize money and safety from being voted off the show. Only one housewife has won the show. Dolores Catania from Real Housewives of New Jersey made it to the finale with fellow faithfuls Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey and Ivar Mountbatten after they successfully voted off all the traitors. What People Are Saying Host of The Traitors Alan Cummings told E! News in August: “About halfway through, there is a scene in it that is the greatest moment in Traitors history. Honestly, I just cannot wait for the world to see it. It’s utter carnage and utter just mad. It’s just brilliant.” Irish TV personality Maura Higgins told NBC: “As much as Love Island had its challenges, living in that environment, navigating relationships, and constantly being on camera, I think The Traitors was more demanding. Love Island is light-hearted and playful in many ways, but The Traitors pushes you into a space where every move matters.” What Happens Next? The new season is likely to air in early 2026 on Peacock, although an exact release date has not been announced.
