Doncic went for 43 points on 17-of-27 shooting from the field, adding 12 rebounds and nine assists. His only struggles came from behind the 3-point line, as he shot 2-of-10 from deep. Nevertheless, he almost singlehandedly kept LA in the game — one in which they were severely outplayed in the second half. The Timberwolves are taking on the Portland Trail Blazers on the road on Wednesday night before traveling to Los Angeles for Friday’s contest. Doncic appears to be the only Laker who came out of Tuesday’s game with any health issues. Thus, it should be a similar rotation for the Lakers as they’ll be without LeBron James, Maxi Kleber and Adou Thiero as they look to get their first win of the new season.
