By: Bawanke David The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Krachi West Municipal, Prosper Kwaku Addo,has commissioned a newly constructed clinic block for the people of Dadekro, fulfilling a promise the MP Madam Adwoa Ntoso made a year ago. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Addo recalled that the Mp for the area Helen Adwoa Ntoso attention was drawn to the deplorable state of the clinic where the people of Dadekro were compelled to use individual apartments in health service delivery. He expressed appreciation to the MP and other individuals for their collaboration,noting that the project was completed within four months.”Today,I am one of the happiest people because we have providing the people of Dadekro with a well equipped health care,” he said. The MCE urged nurses and community members to protect and maintain the facility,adding that other developmental projects are underway in the constituency. “We are also building nurses’ quarters for the nurses in Dadekro and Abujuro, classroom blocks for old worotor, and the project is 95% completion.” In an address by the Krachi West health director,Mr. Victor Ahiagbe commended the Member of Parliament and the Municipal Chief Executive Officer for their commitment to health and local development. “The commissioning of this clinic block and its equipped facilities is not just another event;it is a major step in improving access to quality healthcare in our municipal,” he noted. Mr. Ahiagbe urged the community to cultivate a strong maintenance culture to ensure longevity of the facility. “Governance thrives when communities work together. Let us use this facility wisely and preserve it for future generation”, he added. Mr. Ahiagbe also counted that the nurses have been using individual facilities for the past five years in delivering health services in the area. Mr. Prosper Kwaku Addo has also been inspecting other ongoing projects in the municipality and commends President John Dramani Mahama,the NDC government, and Helen Adwoa Ntoso for their initiatives in providing developmental projects to Ghanaians at the right time.
