Key Points Kody Brown still receives messages from women wanting to join his family. Robyn Brown considers but dismisses the idea, calling direct outreach inappropriate. Kody rejects returning to plural marriage; his other wives have all left. Even though Kody Brown has long since stepped away from plural marriage, that hasn’t stopped women from reaching out. On the Sunday, November 2 episode of Sister Wives, the TLC star revealed to his only remaining wife, Robyn Brown, that he’s still receiving messages from women hoping to join their family. “I got another one of those emails from some woman talking about plural marriage,” Kody, 56, told Robyn, 47. The sender, he explained, “was kind of chastising me for deciding to quit plural marriage,” before suggesting she wanted to “get to know us for the purpose of joining the family.” Robyn briefly admitted that the idea made her pause. “For a split second, I think, ‘Oh, wouldn’t this be great? This is what I’ve always wanted for my life,’” she said in a confessional. “I find it very inappropriate that they would send it to Kody,” she added. “It’s not usually proper to go hitting on a guy. You have to go through the sister wives.” Despite the couple’s unified stance, Robyn acknowledged the appeal of her husband to others. “When a young woman sees a married, stable man, that is attractive,” she said. “He’s figured out some of his bullcrap. He’s got a wife that’s happy and he knows how to be a dad. I mean, like, I’m sorry, but that’s going to make any girl’s eggs drop.” 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 But Kody insists that phase of his life is over. “I’ve had a lot of letters come in and ‘Hey, listen, why don’t you reconsider plural marriage?’” he said. “Like a woman would want to marry me and be Robyn’s sister wife. Who doesn’t like a little bit of attention? But at the same time, it’s like, that’s a craziness that I don’t want to indulge.” The father of 18 admitted that while he once believed in balancing love among multiple wives, he now accepts that “it just wasn’t going to work.” Kody’s plural family has changed dramatically over the past few years. His three other wives — Meri, Janelle, and Christine — have all left the marriage, leaving Robyn as his only remaining partner.
