Kevin Nash Hits Out at WWE Fans Criticising Triple H

Triple H held a press conference on September 12 to confirm that WWE's first-ever WrestleMania, to be held outside North America, will take place in 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was joined by the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, and said that the promotion was "proud." A large section of WWE fans slammed the decision because of problems with travel, money and Saudi Arabia's human rights issues. Most of the blame was thrown at Triple H, who fronted the announcement. Nash pointed out that the 56-year-old has no say in such a move, as this is up to WWE's parent company, TKO. He said on the Kliq This podcast: "Paul [Levesque] was getting heat for them (WWE) going to Saudi Arabia. And it’s like… let’s make sure that people understand that my friend's job is he's the head of creative. He's not the business guy that picks the f*cking venues. That's not his job… it's above his pay grade." WrestleMania has only ever taken place in the United States and Canada, which is why there was so much interest in seeing the biggest pro wrestling event go global. But many envisioned the United Kingdom or another European country as more deserving of hosting the Show of Shows than the Middle Eastern nation. Triple H's Creative Is Also Frustrating Fans
