Recently, in a conversation, Karan Johar heaped praises on Kartik Aaryan, calling him a marketing genius. Speaking to Curly Tales, Karan Johar spoke about how Kartik has built his own brand and shared, “Kartik Aaryan is a marketing genius. He has got a great marketing mind. He’s built his own brand so smartly, so superbly, so strategically.” Further, he also spoke about other actors and revealed who, according to him, can do exceptionally well in finance-related businesses. Well, it’s none other than Shah Rukh Khan, whom he called a “finance guru” and said, “He has got great intellect with money.” In the conversation, while Karan said that someone as calm as Aamir can do something in crisis management, he believes Ranveer Singh can surely earn the title of “Salesperson of the Year” because “he is great at selling everything, and he does it with such charm and amazing energy that you can’t help but buy it.” About Kartik and Karan’s major fallout Lately, Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar have become good on terms once again. The two had a fallout in 2021 when Kartik was dropped from Karan’s Dostana 2. The film was supposed to feature Kartik alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Even though the shooting of the movie had already begun, Kartik was removed from it. Rumours about Kartik’s “unprofessional” behaviour upsetting Karan Johar surfaced online. However, on Kartik’s 33rd birthday in 2023, Karan Johar ended his fight with Kartik. He took to his official Instagram account to announce a movie with the actor. Later, Kartik, while speaking to Lallantop, opened up about his fallout with KJo and said, “I was silent when the news came about and I choose to stay silent even now. I am 100% focused on my work, and when controversies of such nature happen, I stay calm about them. I don’t get involved a lot in them, and I don’t have to prove anything to anyone by getting involved.” Kartik Aaryan is teaming up with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for two films, a rom-com and a horror movie. The rom-com, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, is directed by Sameer Vidwans and stars Ananya Panday opposite Kartik. Meanwhile, the horror movie is titled Naagzilla.
