Jessie J admits she's 'frustrated' in 'out of my control' breast cancer update

Jessie J has admitted that she’s been left feeling ‘frustrated’ as she said things are ‘out of my control’ in a breast cancer update. The Price Tag singer recently made her UK TV comeback during the season premiere of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One last month. Jesse has been flooded with support from her fans in recent months after she announced she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. Just weeks after she performed at Capital's Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium, Jesse had a full mastectomy performed in June. She said at the time: "For those asking for a health update. l am 11 days post surgery. I'm good. Missing being an active Mum / human the most. But it's been nice to slow down and Sky is having a blast with Nanny and Grandad. “It's still uncomfortable/a little painful but l can handle that. I'm doing my exercises and taking all the healthy things. I have been trying to eat super clean. “I have stopped all pain meds. Just not my thing. I’d also like to feel how it feels so I don't overdo it." The mum of two-year-old son Sky, who she shares with her professional basketball player boyfriend Chanan Colman later told fans that she's set to undergo another surgery later this year Due to her surgery, her upcoming UK and Europe dates will need to be moved to new dates next year, whilst the US leg has been cancelled altogether. Returning to Instagram on Monday (October 27), Jessie informed her fans that her surgery has been postponed and she’s trying to 'make the best' of a bad situation. She said in a video: “Some of you may know, some of you may not know, I was supposed to have a second breast surgery two weeks ago. “So a week before my surgery I went to my surgeon and we discussed my surgery and it felt a little more complex than he was anticipating and referred me to a different surgeon who I then saw, had a meeting with who said: ‘I think this can wait a little while’. “Obviously I'd already cancelled my tour so I was obviously frustrated but again it's out of my control and two different surgeons had two different opinions.” The news arrives as Jessie performed her first concert since sharing her diagnosis at BBC Radio 2 In The Park in Chelmsford, Essex, last month. She told the crowd: “Some of you may know, some of you may not know, but I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today. And the last show I did, I had no idea what was gonna happen, and I'm still very much in the recovery process, but I'm definitely not ready for Babins. “I mean, I am, but my doctors are like ‘calm down, girl’. Do you know what I mean, you can take the girl out of Essex, put her back in to Essex. “But I'm just so grateful to be here, you have no idea how grateful I am to see so many of you singing along after all these years. It truly feels like I'm a little kid. Still doing what I love.”
