But after her recent stint on Dancing With the Stars (during which Zac was her biggest cheerleader), they’re expected back for Season 3. No. The biggest scandal to ever rock MomTok may have been Taylor Frankie Paul’s swinger reveal, but the most bizarre one was that Jen lied — or spread someone else’s lie — about her husband being related to Ben Affleck. In the first season of the show, she claimed the Good Will Hunting star was Zac’s second cousin. (She even told People that Zac’s dad met Ben when he was “very little,” adding that she was “hoping to meet him one day, too.”) But after the show aired, multiple sources came forward to refute the familial connection, and in the second season of the show, Jen and Zac acknowledge the awkward controversy. “You’re not gonna make me feel stupid [for saying you’re related to Ben] when that’s all I’ve been told from your family,” Jen tells Zac. No. A big point of contention in Mormon Wives Season 1 was whether Zac would attend medical school in New York City and how a move across the country would impact Jen’s participation in MomTok, which he dismissed as a trivial concern despite her being the breadwinner of the family. Between Seasons 1 and 2 of the show, the Afflecks moved to Arizona — not New York — for Zac to attend medical school, but Jen returned to Utah amid marital strife and he dropped out almost immediately to follow her back and work on their marriage.
