Country superstar Jason Aldean is taking fans back to the 1990s on his upcoming album, Songs About Us, due out April 24, 2026. The 20-track record includes a surprise duet that has longtime country listeners buzzing — a reimagining of David Lee Murphy’s 1995 hit “Dust on the Bottle” featuring Murphy himself. Murphy’s original version was a No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and became one of the defining anthems of mid-’90s country radio. Now, three decades later, Aldean and Murphy are teaming up to revive it for a new generation. The collaboration appears as track nine on Songs About Us, alongside guest features from Luke Bryan and Brittany Aldean, Jason’s wife. View directly on Instagram After years of fan speculation, Jason and Brittany Aldean have finally recorded a song together — the emotional track “Easier Gone.” It marks Brittany’s first official duet with her husband, and her first major music release since appearing on American Idol season 11, where she made it to Hollywood Week. The song was co-written by Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood of Lady A, alongside Josh Kerr and Jimmy Robbins, and is one of three collaborations on the new album. They previously performed together on Aldean’s 2013 single “The Only Way I Know” and on ’90s country band Shenandoah’s re-release of “Sunday in the South.” Aldean’s Songs About Us will be his 12th studio album and first since 2023’s Highway Desperado. His bandmates Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, and John Morgan co-wrote much of the project, continuing their longstanding creative partnership.
