Freddie Freeman had a down year at the plate, and it seems he is not doing well even on the real estate front. The Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman, who won his third World Series after the club defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 in World Series Game 7, is searching for potential buyers to sell his $7,349,000 mansion in LA.The Dodgers' first baseman purchased the lavish Studio City mansion in March 2023 for $7.825 million. At the time, it appeared that it was a great buy, but now he is willing to sell it for a $651,000 loss, according to Celebrity Front Yards. Despite the lower valuation, the mansion is yet to be sold after Freeman first put it on the market during last year's World Series.Freeman’s Studio City home was constructed in 2022 with approximately 6,289 square feet of living space on a roughly 0.22-acre lot. The mansion has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and an ADU.The mansion's interior included sanded limestone floors, oak-encased ceiling beams, custom lighting, and a high-end chef’s kitchen with premium appliances. In amenities, the property comes with a black-bottom swimming pool, fire-pit seating, an infrared sauna, and a detached guest house/ADU. In April 2023, Sports Illustrated reported that Freeman was considering buying the above-mentioned lavish Studio mansion to cut down on this commute.SI also mentions a report from the LA Times mentioning the same. It read:"Freeman values comfort, which is why the All-Star first baseman is taking additional measures to feel more at home in his second season with the Dodgers. He’s looking for a home closer to Dodger Stadium to reduce his 90-minute commute from Orange County."Freeman is now looking to sell that apartment. Despite that, Freeman is not leaving LA anytime soon. He signed a six-year, $162 million contract with the Dodgers in March 2022. His presence has already resulted in two World Series titles.
