An iconic Big Brother contestant hasn't aged a day since her appearance on the reality show 23 years ago. Famed radio presenter Adele Roberts shot to fame during the third series of the social experiment, which aired on Channel 4 in 2002. She joined the show alongside the likes of This Morning host Alison Hammond , late reality star Jade Goody and the show's first female winner, Kate Lawler . Now aged 46, Adele has taken on everything from London Marathons to the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. While some Big Brother legends are completely unrecognisable now, Adele appears almost identical to when she entered the iconic house at 23 years old. Though the DJ has since shaved her hair, she still has her youthful spark. Following her reality show debut, the Southport star went on to host several regional radio shows before landing a role at BBC Radio 1Xtra in 2012. On the TV front, she participated in I'm A Celebrity in 2019, before joining Celebrity Coach Trip in 2020 and Dancing on Ice in 2024. The Channel 4 star has also been open about her personal life, candidly sharing her battle with bowel cancer after being diagnosed in 2021. In June 2022, Adele was declared cancer-free and shared the news with her Instagram followers. "Everything we’ve been through seems to be swirling around in my body and life feels a bit surreal at the moment… BUT I AM SO GRATEFUL! I am counting my blessings," she penned. Four years on from the diagnosis, the reality star reflected on her experience , telling OK! magazine: "I wouldn’t wish cancer on anyone." The DJ continued: "But it’s definitely made me a better, more grateful person. I look after my body now, I’m really mindful of my health. I’ve probably never been fitter. "But more than anything, once you’ve had that diagnosis, you’re constantly aware that it can come back, so I just take it day by day and try to appreciate every day and live in the moment. I try not to worry about things any more." Big Brother continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm
