Ireland is set to be affected by Hurricane Humberto, as it's set to wreak havoc in parts of the world in the coming days. Humberto will continue to intensify over the coming days, Accuweather has reported. The hurricane is forecast to pass between Bermuda and the U.S. East Coast next week. Humberto may bring gusty winds and several inches of rain to Bermuda. However, Ireland will also be left feeling the effects as Met Eireann warned that the weather system is posing some "uncertaintly" for our own weather forecast next week. In their update today, the national forecaster wrote that we could be feeling the remnants of the hurricane on Friday and into next weekend. "While there's a good deal of uncertainty in the detail, due to the presence of what will be ex-hurricane Humberto at this stage in the Atlantic, it's likely to turn more unsettled generally on Friday, with a band of heavy rain spreading eastwards for a time, followed by a mix of sunshine and scattered showers," they predict. "Mild with the rain with highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees, but turning cooler and fresher following the clearance. "Our weather will continue changeable next weekend with some drier spells but with the chance of some heavy rain and strong winds at times, as the remnants of hurricane Humberto move close to or over us." As for the weather before then, Met Eireann have said that things will be unsettled, as temperatures may take a dip. Luckily, temperatures will stay mild during the day, but they have warned that "unsettled and changeable" conditions are on the horizon. In their overview for the days ahead, they wrote: "The week ahead will be mild with mixed conditions. While high pressure will remain close by for a time, weather fronts will move in from the Atlantic occasionally, bringing some rain and drizzle at times, especially to the west and north, with the best of the drier weather to the east and south. It's likely to turn generally more unsettled and changeable later in the week and next weekend." Elsewhere in the world, Hurricane Humberto is at risk of running into another storm, as a rare weather pattern is unfolding in the southwestern Atlantic. "The proximity of two storms expected within hundreds of miles of each other has made this a challenging and complex forecast," AccuWeather Lead Hurricane Expert Alex DaSilva said.
