The Boston Bruins are in action on Thursday, Oct. 30 as they host the Buffalo Sabres at TD Garden in Boston. Leading goal scorer Morgan Geekie got his 8th of the season on a power play and Fran Minten closed things out with an empty netter. Now the Bruins welcome a 4-4-2 Sabres squad to town that is winless on the road in three tries this season. The squad is on a two-game losing streak in which both contests went to overtime and finished 4-3. Buffalo took a 3-2 lead in the the third period of both games, but then allowed the tying goal later in the period and gave up the winner within the first three minutes of overtime.
