How SCIKIQ is redefining enterprise data management for the AI era

In today’s data-driven world, companies collect huge amounts of information and invest heavily in data systems, but often struggle to make real use of it. Gurugram-based , founded in April 2023 by Gaurav Shinh and Rohit Kumar, aims to solve this challenge by helping organisations integrate, contextualise, and monetise their data. The platform connects and analyses information from different sources, turning scattered data into useful insights that help business leaders make faster, informed decisions. With over 27 years of experience in data and analytics, Shinh has worked in corporate roles for 17 years and spent the last decade as an entrepreneur, as the founder of Daaslabs.ai. He holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Toronto. His co-founder, Kumar, is also the Director of Operational Risk Reporting at Barclays and a graduate of IIM Lucknow. Solution overview SCIKIQ operates as a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) mode and its flagship product, called Data Hub, which connects and organises a company’s data in one place to give clear insights while keeping full control of the information. Unlike typical Software-as-a-Service offerings that require clients to share their data with external servers, SCIKIQ’s platform is deployed directly within the client’s infrastructure, be it AWS, Azure, or on-premise. Its design ensures data privacy and ownership remain with the enterprise while automating the integration, contextualisation, and visualisation of data. The platform consolidates data and metadata to generate a “business 360” view, an end-to-end perspective that enables decision-makers to identify inefficiencies, predict trends, and monetise data assets. Ideation to launch The founders spent nearly 7 months building the platform, from ideation to product readiness. Incorporated in April 2023, SCIKIQ onboarded its first customer in September 2023. Today, it serves 13 active clients across India, the UAE, and the US, with plans to scale to 20 clients by the end of this fiscal year. In India, SCIKIQ works with clients like ITQ, which used its platform to build the world’s first airline fare rule language model, and American Express India. In the Gulf Cooperation Council region, its customers include EFS Facilities Services, Aster Pharmacy, Landmark Group, and ADNH. In the US, Pacific Coast Bankers’ Bank (PCBB) uses SCIKIQ for data management. The company also partners with AWS to create data monetisation solutions for telecom clients in North America. Business model and pricing SCIKIQ follows a subscription-based revenue model, with clients signing three- to five-year contracts. Its Average Contract Value (ACV) stands at $65,000 per year, and the average contract size totals about $200,000- $250,000 across the contract duration. The company currently records an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of $866,000 (around Rs 8 crore) and a total contracted revenue of over Rs 20 crore. SCIKIQ is fully bootstrapped but is now in discussions to raise its first external round of funding to accelerate global expansion. Competition and market SCIKIQ competes with well-known enterprise integration platforms like Informatica, Dell Boomi, and Talend. However, Shinh says, “While others focus only on integration, we go a step further by helping companies turn their data into real business value.” By combining data management, analytics, and monetisation in one easy-to-deploy platform, SCIKIQ stands out in a crowded market. According to the Precedence Research Report, the global data integration market is projected to reach around $17.1 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow to about $47.6 billion by 2034 at a CAGR of 12%. The startup is targeting the $23 billion mid-market segment, which is growing at 15-20% annually. Expansion and future plans After finding success in India and Dubai, SCIKIQ is now expanding to the US East Coast, with plans to reach the West Coast by mid-2026. Its next product, GenWise Studio, will let business users ask questions and get insights directly from their data using simple language, without needing any technical skills. SCIKIQ is part of YourStory’s Tech30 cohort—a selection of India’s most promising startups of 2025—unveiled at TechSparks Bengaluru.
