Helen Flanagan has seemed to take a fresh swipe at her ex fiancé Scott Sinclair as she revealed she won't be with her kids this Christmas. The Coronation Street star, who separated from her footballer ex Scott in 2022, has continued to co-parent their two daughters, Matilda and Delilah and son, Charlie, with the former Celtic FC star. However, in a new update, the 35-year-old admitted the arrangement was “rubbish” as she won’t have her children this Christmas. Helen told the Mirror: “So I have to co-parent, which is really rubbish. I don’t think anyone enjoys it, well I definitely don’t. But I think you have got to be fair. "My children’s father, I live very north of Manchester and he lives in Bath so it’s not like we can co-parent like when you’re in the same city. So we take it in turns". Helen confessed she’s “not looking forward to it” and said it feels “unnatural” to not be around her kids on the festive day. She went on to say: “But it’s just a day and I have signed myself up to the panto." Helen is playing the role of the evil stepmother in a pantomime production of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena. While she'll be away from her kids on Christmas Day, Helen will be spending the day with her parents. Just last week, Helen threw shade at ex Scott ahead of the release of her candid new memoir. The mum-of-three is set to cause more drama in her new tell-all memoir, Head & Heart: Break ups, Breakdowns and Being Rosie, which is set to hit shelves on January 29 2026. The Rosie Webster actress teased: “I was going to have to revisit painful times, digging deep into experiences I’d have much rather left buried in the past.” She continued: “I’ve made mistakes, I’ve been hurt and I’ve had to rebuild from rock bottom, but I’ve also learned, grown and come out the other side a better, stronger person. “Telling my truth meant no hiding – no glossing over or airbrushing.” The former I’m A Celeb star confessed that the father of her children previously "blocked" her after one particularly fiery row. Helen revealed how Scott had banned her from contacting him because they “did each others’ heads in”. She went on to insist that while she "cared for him", they "don't like each other". Helen recently shared an emotional moment with fans, admitting she was finding co-parenting tough. She confessed: “I really, really struggle. I really struggle when they go away and I only like them going away if I’m doing something… I’m suffering really badly with anxiety at the moment.”
