The Harrisonburg-based Arts Council of the Valley announced Fall 2025 grants to support five local arts projects. Four Arts for Education grants were awarded to: Barbara Camph of Rocktown House of Music for an instrument library and early childhood lesson supplies Rachael Tayanovskaya of Spotswood Elementary School for Camp Build-A-Book Janet Hostetter of Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir for The Local Musician Initiative Project Trace Feng of MIMA Music for Band Together at Thomas Harrison Middle School A Creative Inspiration grant was awarded to Rebecca Porter for Honky Tonk Heartbreakers & Dance Hall Bangers.
