Halsey is ready to rock, but maybe not as hard. Amid her two-night stop in Boston for her international Back to Badlands tour, the “Without Me” singer revealed she was hospitalized following her Nov. 2 show. “Boston I'm gonna be honest with ya,” Halsey wrote on her Instagram Story Nov. 3 atop a picture of herself wearing a towel headwrap, “after the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning.” Though the 31-year-old (real name Ashley Frangipane) didn’t share further insight into the “minor medical emergency” that landed her in the hospital, she added, “l am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I'm pacing myself, that's why!” In addition to thanking Massachusetts General hospital and her doctors for being “the absolute best team I've ever met,” she emphasized her mindset heading into night two at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, writing, “LETS ROCK TONIGHT!” Over the years Halsey, who is engaged to Avan Jogia, has been candid about her health journey. Five weeks before her hospitalization, she gave an update on her diagnoses of lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder—an umbrella term for diseases related to the overproduction of white blood cells—which she revealed last year.
