Halloween night theft at Bad Bunny display in Watertown, MA?

The woman behind a viral Bad Bunny-themed Halloween display in Watertown, Massachusetts, says two people made off with a cauldron full of treats during trick-or-treating on Friday. The "Bad Boney" display involved skeletons wearing some of the Puerto Rican musical star's famous outfits and accessories, with one massive skeleton in a pair of Calvin Kleins, in reference to Bad Bunny's shoot for the designer, looming over the scene. Kimmy Nguyen previously told NBC10 Boston that she wanted the display on Westminster Avenue to reflect her joy of Halloween and pop music, and reached out on Monday with video she said shows two people walk away with the cauldron. She also said someone else took a microphone and speaker meant for Halloween revelers to use for karaoke. The video she shared appears to show two people picking through the offerings in the display about 9:25 p.m. Eventually, one picks up a cauldron, and the other helps them carry it across the street. "I spent my hard earned income to bring halloween cheer to the community and beyond by setting up the decor and giving out full sized candy bars, juice, snacks, and plantains, asking for nothing in return except that folks not steal from me and my family. We feel very disrespected and shocked," Nguyen said in an email to NBC10 Boston. Watertown police confirmed they were aware of the incident and investigating. Nguyen, who runs a balloon decoration business, said she was reaching out because of the principle of someone taking advantage of others' generosity on Halloween, and because her parents are immigrants and already mistrustful of strangers. She said, "we just want the teens who did this to realize there are consequences to their actions and to warn others to be careful with their belongings."
