Fans of CBS’s Beyond the Gates have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Daytime Emmy Award winner Greg Vaughan ever since his casting was announced a few weeks ago. With his on-screen debut imminent, the actor has given fans their first look at his new character and teased what’s ahead. On October 29, 2025, Vaughan posted a behind-the-scenes photo to X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Look out… something special is taking shape! Today was one of those days that reminds you why you love the work. Grateful for real executive leadership, talent collaboration, and heart in this environment! Fired up about this character and the journey ahead. Stay tuned🕺🏾 #BTG #Dec.” Series creator and head writer Michele Val Jean, known for her work on The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital, replied to Vaughan’s post on X, writing, “Me too! Love having you onboard #BeyondTheGates #BTG” Fans React Fans also responded with excitement over his addition to the CBS soap. One user wrote, “You always bring the best talent and best part of you to any character you portray! They are blessed to have you! 🏆😎🥰” Another fan noted the actor’s praise of strong leadership, saying, “I’m not an actor, I work in corporate but just switched jobs and feel this post. Vaughan began his acting career in 1996 with an appearance on Baywatch and Beverly Hills 90210, later he joined the hit WB series Charmed as Dan Gordon. He entered daytime television in 2002 when he took on the role of Diego Guittierez on The Young and the Restless, before taking on the legacy fan-favorite roles of Lucky Spencer on General Hospital and most recently Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives.
