The Government of Ghana has announced a 30% reduction in the cost of passport application fees, a move aimed at easing the financial burden on citizens seeking travel documents. The new pricing will officially take effect on Wednesday, November 13, 2025. With this adjustment, the application fee for a 32-page passport will drop from GH¢500 to GH¢350, while the 48-page booklet will see a similar percentage reduction.
