Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, announced that e-visas will be implemented by 2026 to streamline entry procedures and promote trade, diplomacy, and investment. Speaking at the African Innovation and Technology Expo MOBEX 2025 in Accra, he said the project is part of his ministry’s digital modernization strategy. The system will make it easier for investors, tech experts, and business professionals to visit and work in Ghana. Ablakwa also highlighted digital consular services and virtual diplomatic dialogues designed to enhance efficiency and extend Ghana’s global reach.
