Gethin Jones moans in pain as he gives update on 'debilitating' condition

Welsh TV star Gethin Jones, who is known for co-hosting the BBC morning show Morning Live, has posted a video of himself moaning in pain due to a "debilitating" health condition. Posting to his Instagram stories, Gethin explained he was receiving treatment for his back. He said he was in a lot of pain and struggled to stand up and move around. Gethin is known for generally being very healthy and taking on many physical challenges, such as a 24-hour skate-a-thon for charity. In the video, Gethin said: "This is absolutely horrendous." Talking about his physio, Jeff Ross, who was treating him in the video, Gethin said: "This is Jeff and he is evil. "I've got a really, really bad back, and this week has been really debilitating, even like getting up and down, finally had to come and get it sorted out." Gethin went on to exclaim: "Oh my god!" while moaning in pain. He said: "It's ridiculous... I'm a right mess." For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter . Gethin did not go on to give fans an update on whether the treatment was successful. Recently, Gethin had Morning Live's guests in stitches as he went on a Welsh language rant on the show. The Cardiff host was presenting alongside Kym Marsh when he told one of the contributors to "get that straight" as they discussed a debate around a certain Welsh word. The small yet comical rant happened just as the show was about to head into its first segment of the morning, which was looking at the discussion around the "end of the microwave". As the show was about to get into the first segment, Gethin said: "Before we get into this debate about the microwave, what is the Welsh word for microwave?" In response, Matt Allwright mistakenly guessed the word was "pippety-pong", which prompted Gethin to go on an impassioned rant. The presenter said: "No, also you've got it the wrong way round. Most people think it's popty ping. But it's not! "Popty is the Welsh word for oven, ping is just a noise it makes. "It's meicrodon, so let's get that straight and we will all get on today." The rest of the contributors replied with an awkward "okay" before Doctor Kasim teasingly asked: "How many Ps are there in popty ping?", to which Gethin joked: "You can leave!"
