Lives of four passengers were lost and multiple injured in a collision between a local train and a stationary goods train near Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh Tuesday. The Indian Railways declared Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for kin of deceased, Rs 5 lakh to those grievously injured, and Rs 1 lakh to those with minor injuries.
