It turns out the former member of Fatal Influence made the decision to not renew her contract with WWE, a decision that even surprised Gentile herself. During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Gentile explained the reasoning behind her leaving NXT and WWE as a whole. "I truthfully can say I was not expecting to leave, I thought this was going to be life, but it came down to making a living, everyone needs to make a living and for me it was like, after my 3 years, being on TV for 2, I expected there to be some compensation for the work I put in, and it didn't end up that way, and that's why I had to part ways," Gentile said. "There was no bad blood or anything it was just, I can't make a living on this and value myself this way you guys might not yet. Who knows maybe in the future, value goes up and if they want me back, I'd love to go back, but in that moment it felt like the right decision for me."
