An ex-WWE superstar has explained his actions following “AEW WrestleDream 2025.” Samoa Joe of The Opps was in action on Wednesday’s episode of “Dynamite.” Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata put the AEW World Trios Championship at stake against Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP of The Hurt Syndicate. Ultimately, The Opps turned in another successful title defense thanks to interference from The Demand. After the match, Joe revealed that he attacked Page after their “WrestleDream” match because he will target the top champion of any promotion he’s a part of until he’s no longer breathing. It appears Joe hasn’t lost sight of his goal of becoming a two-time AEW World Champion. .@SamoaJoe finally speaks on his and The Opps' actions against AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page at #AEWWrestleDream!Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on TBS & HBO Max pic.twitter.com/ankjv08yFU— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) October 23, 2025 Joe fell short in his attempt to capture the AEW World Championship against Page at “WrestleDream 2025.” After initially embracing “Hangman,” Joe and The Opps attacked the top male titleholder in AEW, solidifying the faction’s heel turn.
