(Photo: Horace Hines) Latest News November 11, 2025 Fire destroys two buildings in Falmouth FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Fire of unknown origin gutted two buildings along Cornwall Street in the seaside town of Falmouth during the early hours of Tuesday morning. The affected structures, both used for residential purposes, also housed a daycare centre, as well as upholstery and technician operations. Firefighters battled courageously to bring the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby buildings. Tuesday morning’s incident comes just days after another fire razed a house on Queen Street in the town.
