easyJet passengers flying from Manchester Airport in November issued update

easyJet has issued an update for passengers flying from Manchester Airport next month as the airline makes changes to its operations. From November 19, all easyJet flights will operate from the new-look Terminal 2, for both arrivals and departures. It comes as the £1.3billion transformation programme of Terminal 2 nears completion. Once finished, 70 per cent of flights were operated from the Terminal, which has doubled in size, while Terminal 1 will close to allow Terminal 3 to expand. easyJet’s move to Terminal 2 is the latest to be announced at Manchester Airport . Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group HERE It will join Aer Lingus, Luxair, Finnair, British Airways and Loganair who’ve already moved their operations to Terminal 2. Passengers are urged to allow more time for their journey if they’re not used to flying from Terminal 2. Manchester Airport has said that staff will be on hand to support passengers during the changes. Information on how to make any changes to lounge bookings and parking can be found on the airport’s website. In an update issued on its website, easyJet said: “From November 19 2025, all easyJet flights at Manchester Airport will operate from Terminal 2, for both departures and arrivals. “This move is part of Manchester Airport’s project designed to bring upgraded facilities and an even better travel experience for customers. “From November 19, you’ll need to head to Terminal 2 when you fly with us from Manchester, and you’ll also arrive back into Terminal 2 when you return. “We recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey while you get used to the new terminal and following the airport signage on the day to help you find your way quickly and easily.” Passengers will be able to benefit from the new facilities and outlets which have already opened at Terminal 2, including the Lego shop, Joe and The Juice, and Pandora. An extension to the terminal opened in 2021 and the airport is now in the final stages of overhauling the original Terminal 2 building to bring it up to the same standard as the extension, mirroring the modern look and feel. More than 70 per cent of the airport’s passengers will use the new facilities and Terminal 1 is set to close when the project is completed early next year.
