Dyson has become one of the first brands to launch its Black Friday sales, with offers going live on its website from today, Wednesday, October 29. The tech giant promises discounts across some of the latest beauty technologies, vacuums, air purifiers and more. It is an ideal time for consumers to purchase more expensive tech items at a lower rate, either for their own homes or as Christmas gifts. One of the biggest savings right now is £550 off a 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum cleaner, which has been cut to £649.99, down from £1,199.99. Described as the 'most powerful robot vacuum', it promises to be six times more powerful than its market competitors. The cleaner can be controlled, customised and scheduled with the downloadable MyDyson app. It has 360° vision to analyse, map and navigate. Its built-in sensor means it can avoid obstacles and restricted areas as it cleans. Dyson also offers cheaper vacuum cleaners in the Black Friday deals, including £150 off the cordless V11 Extra vacuum, now £349.99, was originally £499.99. The device has a one-hour runtime and an LCD screen for real-time updates. It also comes with a variety of cleaning tools, including a combination tool, a mattress tool, a crevice tool, a hair screw tool, and a quick-release soft-brushing tool. The hair screw tool has been engineered with anti-tangle technology to suck up hair and spiral it straight into the bin. Similarly, Shark is well-regarded for its cordless vacuum range, and although the brand has yet to announce the start of its Black Friday bonanza, some sales are available on the site. For instance, this PowerPro Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum has been reduced to £ 189.99, down from £279.99. The V11 Extra vacuum is a popular buy on Dyson's website, with more than 7,000 customer reviews, the majority of which praise its suction and battery life. One reviewer simply wrote: "Great suction and battery life. I would highly recommend." One user noted performance issues, saying: "I started using it two weeks ago and found it generally excellent but was disappointed with its performance on carpet on which it tended to jam and proved totally inadequate." Another buyer upgraded from their V6 model, commenting: "Great battery life and charge left indicator. Good suction on normal setting, really good on boost mode. Very easy to empty the bin. Overall, very pleased with the purchase." Amazon is a big contender in the Black Friday space, and although the marketplace is keeping tight-lipped about when its event will commence, it currently has some deals on vacuum cleaners. This Vax Pace Plus Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is offered for £119, instead of its RRP of £189.99.
