Dustin Rhodes confirms when he's returning to AEW

AEW's Dustin Rhodes has been on the mend since a major surgery he underwent earlier this year. The veteran has now seemingly provided a potential timeline for his comeback. Dustin Rhodes has been missing from the squared circle since he lost his TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher after their brutal Chicago Street Fight at the end of July on Collision. During the match, The Protostar went after The Natural's legs, which he kept attacking even after the bout, causing the latter to have to be stretchered out. Dustin underwent double knee replacement surgery this past August, and since then he has been on the road to recovery. A social media user recently took to X/Twitter to ask Rhodes for an update on his knees. The 56-year-old veteran revealed that he still experiences a degree of pain, particularly in the mornings, and despite "pushing hard" still has some time to go till he can return to action. Rhodes did indicate that he could be back by March, however, writing: "They still hurt a bit, especially in the mornings. I do have a good ways to go. Remember I am 56 and pushing hard, just takes time. Not young anymore. Prob March I should be ready to kill everyone lol. Maybe, I am pushing hard my man," wrote Dustin. AEW's Dustin Rhodes reacts to the idea of WWE Hall of Fame inductionAlthough Dustin Rhodes has signed a long-term multi-year deal with AEW, and has been a key player for the company since its foundation, fans still clamor for the Artist Formerly Known as Goldust to return to WWE for one more run. The Bizarre One has been outspoken about his loyalty towards the Tony Khan-led promotion. When a user on X/Twitter recently shared a post wanting Dustin to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Rhodes responded by addressing the first half of the fan's post, stating that he was doing his best to stay healthy, calling it his number one priority. "Doing my very best. My health concern is number 1," he wrote. It remains to be seen if Dustin Rhodes will ever go back to his old stomping grounds to reunite with his brother, former AEW EVP and current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
