Ducati has brought the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak to India, priced at Rs 36,16,700 (ex-showroom). It sits just below the range-topping V4 RS. Powering the Pikes Peak is Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 170 hp at 10,750rpm and 124 Nm at 9,000rpm. The motor is now E20-compliant and features rear-cylinder deactivation to reduce heat buildup during city rides. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a two-way quickshifter. What sets the Pikes Peak apart from the rest of the Multistrada lineup is its suspension and geometry setup. Ducati has fitted Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, which automatically adjusts damping based on riding conditions and inputs. The chassis is tuned specifically for tarmac use, making it the most road-focused Multistrada yet. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning. The braking system is top-spec as well, featuring Brembo Stylema callipers and cornering ABS for maximum control. Visually, the Pikes Peak draws inspiration from Ducati’s racing heritage. It rides on lightweight 17-inch Marchesini forged wheels, wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres. The ergonomics are noticeably different from the V4 S, with lower handlebars, higher-set footpegs, and a firmer saddle for a more aggressive riding position. Even the single-sided swingarm and sport-inspired livery distinguish it as the performance flagship of the Multistrada range.
