JOHNSTOWN Conemaugh Memorial lauded Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has been named to the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals List for 2025-26 for excellence in the treatment of heart arrhythmia. That marks the third consecutive year U.S. News has recognized Conemaugh Memorial for its high-quality cardiovascular care, highlighting the hospital’s commitment to clinical excellence, innovation and improved patient outcomes. STATE COLLEGE CBICC presents awards Kish Bank was named Business of the Year by the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County at the 2025 Centre County Business Awards. Juice Shack closes locations The Juice Shack has closed its locations in Duncansville and Altoona. According to a post on Facebook, the closings are the result of economic challenges and rising product costs. The Juice Shack was part of Center City Market’s revival, opening with other vendors this year. JOHNSTOWN Medical centers recognized Conemaugh Miners Medical Center and Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, both part of Conemaugh Health System, have been named among Becker’s Top Hospitals for Nurse Communication, earning five-star ratings for excellence in patient experience from October 2023 through September 2024. The five-star rating is based on patient survey responses measuring how well nurses listen carefully, explain clearly and respond promptly — all vital to building trust and ensuring positive health outcomes.
