Dodgers Tabbed 'Best Fit' In Free Agency For Yankees $8.6 Million All-Star

The Los Angeles Dodgers are in the middle of a heated World Series battle with the Toronto Blue Jays, but there’s already growing speculation about their upcoming offseason. The Dodgers are always in the market to add more talent during the offseason, so they should be expected to be quite aggressive in free agency. Bleacher Report’s Zachary Rymer recently suggested the Dodgers would be the best fit in free agency for New York Yankees pitcher Devin Williams. Given the presence of David Bednar, that could complicate a reunion,” Rymer wrote. “Instead, how about the superpower on the other coast? Unless the Dodgers are going to keep Roki Sasaki in their bullpen — which seems unlikely — they’re going to need to fix what is still a shaky relief corps even now in the World Series.” Williams struggled for the majority of the season with the Yankees, but the Dodgers could be willing to take a risk on the All-Star righty. The Dodgers are going to need to add to their bullpen in the coming months. Adding Williams, even if it’s as a setup man, would be a huge addition. It wouldn’t break the bank, which allows the Dodgers to chase a superstar like Kyle Tucker. There’s also the chance the Dodgers can help Williams return to Cy Young-level form during his tenure with the team. More MLB: Mets Quietly Sign 6-Year Veteran Pitcher To One-Year Deal: Report
