Assistive equipment will be distributed in November, after complete assessment during the camp. He was addressing a press conference at the District Court Complex in Yadgir on Saturday. The judge said that with the aim to provide equipment for the differently abled, visually impaired, senior citizens, and also the general public, the DLSA has organised the camp to assess the percentage of disability of the differently abled and visually impaired, and based on that, required equipment will be distributed at the district court complex, in the month of November. Mr. Marula Siddaradhya said that many employees under judiciary, advocates, and general public are suffering from the disability. The DLSA has decided to hold health assessment camp with the YIMS, Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Health and Family Welfare. The renovation work of the existing building belonging to the Town Municipal Council in Gurmitkal is underway, as ₹12 lakh has been released for the purpose.
