Pass Options: Monthly Local Pass: Available only to people living within 20 km of the toll plaza.Proof of residence must be shown every month at the plaza.FASTag Annual Pass: Can be bought and renewed online.Works at all national highway toll plazas.Impact: Regular commuters using personal vehicles and having passes will not be affected much. Cab and taxi rides will become more expensive, as drivers will pass the toll cost to passengers.Reason for High Toll: The Dwarka Expressway has many elevated sections – about 22 km of the 30-km stretch are flyovers and tunnels.Toll is calculated using a formula that treats these structures as longer road lengths (about 150 km) to recover higher construction costs.Kherki Daula Plaza Update: The toll for cars there has also increased from Rs 80 to Rs 95, as the new rate includes charges for the flyovers along the Delhi–Gurgaon Expressway.
