Coronation Street fans rumble Maggie Driscoll 'discovery' in major past link to cobbles

Coronation Street fans think they have 'rumbled' what Maggie Driscoll may have found when she found herself in the home of a legendary Weatherfield resident. Fans of the ITV soap have only recently been introduced to the know character, played by Father Ted icon Pauline McLynn, as she was revealed as the new owner of the Rovers Return. Last week, Eva Price made a joyous return to Weatherfield and was quickly presented the beloved boozer by her partner, Ben Driscoll, who surprised her by revealing she was the new landlady. They wasted no time in settling into the pub and welcoming all the regulars with a huge opening party. But it was the arrival of Ben’s mum, Maggie, that ruffled feathers, as she delivered some shocking news for Eva - that she is, in fact, the landlady after Ben had to ask her for financial help. While purposely winding up her daughter-in-law, Maggie was seen during a more emotional moment as she was seen coming to Asha Alahan's aid. Corrie fans know that the paramedic has had a difficult few weeks following a traumatic shift in which she faced a patient's death and was racially abused by a drunk women, later revealed as Naomi. After bumping into her abused again in Weatherfield, Asha's mental health spiralled and she made an attempt to take her own life, with her revealing the death of her friend, Craig Tinker, earlier this year as the start of her troubles. As her mental health struggles continued, Asha began suffering a panic attack, she bumped into Maggie, who quickly realised that she was struggling. Asha opened up and as her state became increasingly concerning, Maggie phoned for medical assistance and Asha was seen being taken back to the hospital. Later, with Maggie preparing for the Halloween party at the Rovers, she was seen being helped on the hunt for a punch bowl by Amy Barlow, who thanked her for looking out for her friend. While at No.1 Coronation Street, Maggie helped the search for the punch bowl when she seemingly made a discover in Amy's grandfather, Ken Barlow's, sideboard. While nothing else was said of it, some Corrie fans have been speculating about what she's now hiding - and have suggested her link to the cobbles could go way beyond Eva. SnooTigers9274 asked on Reddit: "Why was Maggie acting so weird in the Barlows. She was awkward when she saw Ken and even more so when she looked in the cupboard. Whats going on there?" The Reddit user then added: "Maybe the connection is with the McDonalds. Could she have seen Steve's pic? Maybe a connection to Jim." bendingHarmonic suggeted: "Something to do with deidre," but rawpaprika replied: "I thought that but then what did she find in the cupboard but managed to miss the huge framed photo of her on the sideboard
