As part of the 10-year celebrations of the Indian Institute of Management-Visakhapatnam (IIM-V), the Centre for Responsible Management Education (CRME) concluded the two-day Case Conference on Responsible Innovations and Sustainability Practices (CRISP) 2025, on Saturday. State Bank of India (SBI), Visakhapatnam, regional manager Koushik Reddy discussed the evolving financial perspectives supporting sustainable business ecosystems, while Turning Point Management Solutions principal consultant and founder Viswanadham Bendapudi delivered a session on “The Changing Policy Framework of Sustainability in India in the Context of Nationally Determined Contributions: Opportunities for Sustainable Business Practices”. Meanwhile, Sun Pharma AVP and Global Head – Sustainability and EHSRavi Kiran Sivala shared the best practices and strategies for integrating sustainability at the board level and across supply chain operations. Bhagavatula Charitable Trust secretary B. Sriram Murty spoke on economic circularity in rural areas and highlighted community-driven approaches to sustainable development. From over 100 submissions, 24 cases were selected through a rigorous review process for their originality, pedagogical value, and alignment with the ideals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Together, these cases span diverse sectors, technology, healthcare, energy, fast-moving consumer goods, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, fashion, and grassroots entrepreneurship, showcasing how organisations, leaders, and communities are grappling with the twin imperatives of innovation and responsibility. Valedictory session was presided over by CRME Chair Amit B. Chakrabarti.
