A wide variety of new-design sarees such as organic cotton garments (produced naturally without chemical dyes), Kanchipuram, Arani, Salem, Thirupuvanam silk sarees, Coimbatore soft silk sarees, silk dhotis, handloom sungudi sarees, Kanchi cotton, Chettinad cotton, Coimbatore Kora cotton, Salem cotton, Paramakudi cotton, Dindigul cotton, and Aruppukottai cotton sarees were on sale. Furthermore, to attract youth, there were linen/cotton shirts, lungi, towels, and dhotis. Dress materials, nighties, and kurtis for women were also attractively prepared for consumers. In Ramanathapuram district, a sales target of ₹50 lakh had been set for the current year, which was significantly higher than the sales recorded (₹32.28 lakh) last Deepavali season.
