Elon Musk’s name has now come up in the Jeffrey Epstein files along with other big names like Bill Gates Prince Andrew Steve Bannon and Peter Thiel. On Friday Democratic lawmakers made public some documents from the Epstein investigation. These papers suggest that Epstein may have had contact with several well-known figures including Musk Bannon and Thiel years after pleading guilty in 2007 to sex crimes. The six pages with some parts hidden were handed over by the Justice Department to the House Oversight Committee. The committee is looking into how Epstein’s sex-trafficking case was handled before his death in federal custody in 2019. According to Epstein’s personal calendars released by the committee he had planned a breakfast with Trump’s ally Steve Bannon in February 2019 a lunch with tech billionaire Peter Thiel in November 2017 and possibly a visit from Elon Musk to his private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands on December 6 2014. The papers show Musk listed as a possible guest at Epstein’s island Little St. James on that date which was years after Epstein had already been marked as a sex offender. A flight record from 2000 shows Prince Andrew on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane. His ties to Epstein have already been widely reported. That same year financial records reveal Epstein paid someone named “Andrew” for “Massage Exercise Yoga.” Earlier this year Elon Musk went after Donald Trump on social media claiming Trump’s name appeared in the “Epstein files.” This came just after Musk had criticized Trump’s tax and spending policies and after years of being closely linked with him including during the DOGE episode and Trump’s time in office. In July Musk again raised the issue publicly asking: “How can people trust Trump if he refuses to release the Epstein files?”
