The beloved series will see Roman Kemp, Molly Rainford, Anita Rani and Dylan Llewellyn joined by loved ones as they go head-to-head on the show's most jaw-dropping route yet. It seems that bosses will capitalising on the success of BBC's other hit show Celebrity Traitors by choosing a specific date for Race Across The World to return. The series is set to begin on Thursday November 6, and will air right before the Celebrity Traitors finale at 8pm. Swapping luxury for backpacks and comfort for the unknown, the four celebrity duos embarking on the ultimate adventure were unveiled last month. They are broadcaster and writer Anita and her dad, Bal; actor Dylan Llewellyn and his mum, Jackie; partners, presenter and DJ Tyler West and actor and singer, Molly Rainford and broadcaster Roman Kemp and his sister, singer-songwriter, Harleymoon. The return date for the new series of Celebrity Race Across The World has been revealed, with the latest run set to kick off on Thursday, November 6 This series takes the race through one of the most diverse and visually stunning routes yet, spanning the undiscovered Caribbean and Pacific coast of Central America. The journey begins on the idyllic Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, just off the easternmost point of Mexico and challenges teams to race 5,900km to reach the finish line in the remote and breathtaking Península de La Guajira in Colombia – the gateway to South America. Tim Harcourt, Chief Creative Officer, Studio Lambert said: 'The series' success is a testament to how much audiences connect with the show's raw emotion, incredible journeys, and heartfelt human stories. 'This series brings a new set of celebrities into that world and what makes it so special is watching them open up, bond, and grow through a life-changing experience. 'It's inspiring, unpredictable, and full of those powerful moments that have made the format such a hit with viewers.' Last year's series came to a nail-biting end as Scott Mills and his husband Sam were declared the 2024 winners. In the final episode of the series, the four teams rushed to the finish line as they made their way through Argentina into Chile to get to the seaside town of Frutillar. Trekking through the stunning region of Patagonia, crossing through mountains and deserts on a tight budget, tensions were running high as the ending came near for the celebrities. Capitalising on the success of BBC's other hit Celebrity Traitors, Celebrity Race Across The World will air its first episode directly before the other show's finale Swapping luxury for backpacks and comfort for the unknown, the four celebrity duos embarking on the ultimate adventure were unveiled last month Race Across The World winners are revealed as they beat fan favourites in tense final chase Each team choosing different routes by bus, coach, taxi and even hitch-hiking, Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi took an early lead. However, BBC Radio 2 presenter Scott and Sam, plus Ted Lasso's Kola Bokinni and cousin Mary-Ellen quickly caught up with the couple in exciting scenes. As Kola and Mary-Ellen and Scott and Sam arrived in Frutillar, they travelled to a designated restaurant before heading to the base camp of a volcano. With money running-short, Kola and Mary-Ellen were forced to do the last leg of the race by foot and climbed up the volcano to get to the Chilean flag that marked the end of the race. However, Scott and Sam were the first to sign their name in the book signaling the end of the race and crowning them the winners - beating Kola and Mary-Ellen by two hours. Scott said: 'Speechless. When you open that book, and there's no other names in it, there's no other feeling like it. 'It's been exhilarating, it's been tough, it's been so frustrating at times, but it just proves we're a great team - a winning team'. Sam added that winning was the 'best feeling ever'. Arriving nearly a day later, Jeff Brazier and son Freddy came in third followed by Kelly and Jeremy. The entire 12,500km route took 30 days for the groups to complete.
