Bonfire night is just around the corner and Tameside is set to mark the occasion in spectacular style. The council is not putting on any events themselves, like many other local authorities up and down the country, but there are still plenty to choose from. Tameside council is encouraging residents of the borough to go to safe, organised events. A number of sports clubs will be hosting putting on firework displays for locals to enjoy alongside Cockfields Farm Park and the recently established Home of Fields Of Gold Festival.
