Carys Zeta Douglas Revives Mom's 20-Year-Old Dress in Rare Appearance With Her Dad

Key Points Carys Zeta Douglas attended a NYC gala with her father, Michael Douglas. She wore her mother Catherine Zeta Jones's 2005 black lace dress to the event. Zeta Douglas shared a bit about her post-college plans. It’s not every day that Carys Zeta Douglas walks a red carpet alongside her dad, Michael Douglas. However, on Tuesday, Oct. 28, that’s exactly what happened. Zeta Douglas, 22, walked the red carpet at the PAC NYC Icons of Culture Gala held at the Perelman Performing Arts Center in New York with her dad as her date. Zeta Douglas wore one of her mom’s dresses to the event — one that Catherine Zeta Jones wore to the 2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony — and she looked simply gorgeous. The black lace slip dress featured floral embellishments around the bodice and toward the bottom of the gown, which fell just above her ankles. Zeta Douglas completed the look with a pair of black pumps and some vintage-style earrings with red accents. While at the event, Zeta Douglas told People magazine about her post-college plans; she graduated from Brown University with a degree in Film and International Relations in May. “I grew up doing theater, and I didn’t study acting in school, but that’s why I’m happy to be in such an informative arts space, so hopefully more of that,” she shared. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬
