BTS member Kim Taehyung, AKA V, is not only a K-pop singing sensation but also a global fashion icon, and his appearance at the Vogue World: Hollywood event holds the proof. The South Korean musician was personally invited to the event by Conde Nast’s global chief content officer and artistic director, Anna Wintour. With his appearance at the event, V yet again showed how proud he is of his cultural origin when he graced the event, channelling his rich Korean heritage. V Blends Traditional Korean Heritage with Modern-Day Charm The K-pop sensation appeared at the event donning a custom-made Jay Baek Couture, which comprised a grey suit and a matching oversized jacket. However, his accessories stole the spotlight. V was seen opting for a gat-inspired hat, a traditional piece seen during the Joseon dynasty. He also wore a jade knot on a norigae belt, a decorative pendant popular among ancient kings. Moreover, V’s wristwatch belonged to the Gojong period, which was first spotted nearly 120 years ago. V’s appearance at the event was straight from a movie scene, as he chatted away with everyone around him and thanked his fans with a special gesture. V was spotted sitting in between Dakota Johnson and Cynthia Erivo and engaging in conversations with them. Among the models, Kendall Jenner, Anok Yai and Cara Delevingne, among others, strutted the runway with captivating looks. Musicians like Gracie Abrams and Doja Cat were also seen performing at the event, which is a celebration of fashion, history and heritage. BTS’ V on the Work Front V is all set to release BTS’ comeback album along with members RM, Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin and Suga. The K-pop group started working on the album in July this year in the US, which will mark their first album in four years. The new record is scheduled to be released in spring next year. Following the release, the group is also reportedly planning to go on a massive 20-city world tour in 2026.
